Sustainable Urbanization In The Paris Agreement

In this latest version, UN-Habitat analyses the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) on the Paris Agreement on climate change, with a particular focus on the urban context, in order to better understand the role of Member States in the fight against urban climate change. The result is very encouraging: more than two-thirds – 113 out of 164 – of the CNN submitted show clear planning references and content that link sustainable urbanization to climate protection. With the new urban programme and the Paris Agreement on climate change, UN-Habitat is ready to help member states implement their national contributions (NDCs).
